I can't stop listening to this, this is the platonic ideal of spooky sludge metal and I love how their vocals dovetail with the instrumentals
Favorite track: Black Pudding.

Holy crap . I ignored this because I figured it to be run of the mill boring stoner noise . Yeah it’s in that vein a bit in that it’s over fuzzed but this is Dmitri Mavra’s band of Skunk and Slow phase . And it shows ! And yes he does vocals ,
Favorite track: Sorceror with the Skull Face.

Cold dark throne,
Lord of darkness
Distant reality,
Mind Palace has shown me
Infinite black abyss,
to live forever is my only wish
Voice like thunder
Into my brain
I hear the words
I feel the pain
I grant your wish without delay
For eternity you are my slave
Deep, down evil hole
Down in unbearable cold
Drifting luminous eye
Looks into your mind
What will it find?
Leeching all of your soul
Down in unbearable cold
Deep, down evil hole
Your body’s turning cold
Your limbs becoming stiff
Orcus curse of old
From the darkness of the crypt
Life falling from your face
Climbing from your grave
No more resting place
You are his slave
Returning to the world
Where destiny is fate
Looking out eternally
From your skull face
Fist like steel
Arms crush bones
Crush your bones
Stomp your bones
Crush your bones
Stomp your bones
Fears no pain
Fears no man
Fears no death
Fears no pain
Has no mind
Has no brain
Nothing is real
But the palace of your mind
Step right inside and you will feel
Feel what I have in mind
There’s just one thing
One thing you’re going to have to learn
You go anywhere
But you can not return
"It has been many years since I composed these songs. They came to me in the dark, these words and simple melodies, recited endlessly in my mind as I sat imprisoned in the darkness of isolation in His Majesty’s dungeon, without quill or parchment, for a crime of which I was, unfortunately, most guilty. Had I not pushed the boundaries of reality in a vain attempt to conquer Death itself, had I not unleashed hideous powers upon the kingdom that caused so much pain and destruction, had I not inflicted upon myself what may be the ultimate curse, had I not done these things I would be sleeping peacefully in the senseless, interminable abyss of nothingness and my name would be revered throughout history as a legendary sorceror. Alas, I did cause these events to unfold and nothing can change that now. His Majesty has been dead for nearly a century, yet I live on, shunned by the world, living secretly in the dark forests of the north until time ceases to exist. There are times when I question if this is truly reality, I wonder if I ever did return from the mind palace of the Mushroom God, that strange and terrible realm of imagination which I was so careless, nay, foolish, to invoke. No matter how I strive to avoid it, I inevitably catch a fleeting glimpse of myself in the dark forest stream and see the ghostly bones of my face and know it is real. I shudder in fear and disgust to think of my encounter with Orcus, immortal Lord of the Underworld and now my master, forever, until he sees fit to release me from my necromantic servitude."

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
